# 8. Governance and Community

**Governance Model:** Trilayr has a very advanced governance model that makes the involvement of the community and transparency of decision-making processes much easier. In this model, active participation by token holders in the form of voting mechanisms will make the community be heard about the development and future of the Trilayr ecosystem.

**Key Features:**

**Decentralized Voting:** Voting on some key proposals, like Governance Upgrades and Development Initiatives, becomes available to all $TRIL holders owning more than 500K TRIL.

**Active Participation:** There will be community meetings and AMAs every so often to discuss the developments, gather feedback, and encourage involvement among members in the community.

**Incentivized Contributions:** By large contributions to governance, such as voting or providing feedback, users are to be rewarded with tokens or special privileges.

The strategy of Trilayr will be hinged on building strong and engaging communities. The ecosystem is going to ensure that users have an inclusive environment to connect, share ideas, and be in a position to contribute to the growth of the blockchain.
